My principal, Kevin, and I partnered with the Center for International Understanding in order to create a sample thematic unit about geographical movement of people, products and ideas. This unit was intended for in-service U.S. teachers who were embarking on school partnerships with schools in Mexico. Using technology we were able to create a unit which had the ability to bring students together across boarders. Project guides and rubrics were implemented as a standard way to assess student learning.
